Magical Mayhem

Magical Mayhem is another class project which I took the assets from and made a personal project with. I created custom spell blueprints that deal damage and fire off a custom projectile blueprint when triggered and a checkpoint system. I also created a spell inventory to allow the player to obtain multiple spells and select between them and a turret blueprint that shoots projectiles at the player.

Approaching the level design for this, I wanted it to be less heavy on the platforming and more focused on utilizing the custom spells and spell inventory. The flow of the level and the world building were of the upmost importance when designing the level. I also made sure that once again the player is at the forefront of the attention when it comes to my level design, this time using the assets to create a dreamy world.
